Community guidelines.

Springboard is a community of people who do Pilates. These guidelines are short on purpose. You agree to them, along with the Terms, the first time you post.

Write about places you actually went

Reviews, photos, and check-ins are about real visits. A verified visit is confirmed by your location at the studio or by the studio's own check-in code. Don't review a studio you haven't been to, and don't review your own studio, your employer, or a competitor. If you have a stake in a place, say so or sit it out.

No fake, paid, or traded reviews

Reviews written for money, a free class, a favour, or on someone's behalf come down, and the account that posted them loses the ability to post. The same goes for asking members to write them.

Be kind, be specific

Say what the class was like, what the space was like, who taught, and what you'd want to know before going. Keep it about the studio and the practice. Harassment, hate, threats, or comments about someone's body are not reviews, and they come down.

Stay on topic

Posts, comments, and messages are for Pilates, studios, instructors, events, and trips. Promotion, spam, and unrelated content are removed.

Your photos

Post photos you took, of places you were. No photos of other people without their permission, and nothing unsafe. Photos you post are public and carry your handle.

Messages and events

Messages are private between the people in them, but the guidelines still apply. Events are hosted by verified instructors and studios; show up to what you RSVP to, or cancel so someone on the waitlist can go.

Safety first

Anything that encourages unsafe practice, or that puts someone in danger, is removed. If a studio or a class felt unsafe, say so plainly in a review. That's exactly what reviews are for.

Reporting and blocking

Every review, photo, post, comment, message, event, and profile can be reported from inside the app. You pick a reason (fake or paid for, harassment or hate, off-topic, conflict of interest, spam, unsafe, or something else) and add a note if you like. Reported content is hidden for you right away, and a person reviews it within 24 hours. Nobody is told who reported them.

You can block anyone. They won't see your passport or reviews, you won't see theirs, and they aren't told. Undo it any time in Settings.

Studio listings

Spotted a studio that closed, moved, or has the wrong hours? Use “Report a problem” on the studio page. Those reports go to our data team, who correct the listing at the source. Studios can also correct or remove their own listing, and where our listings come from explains how.

What happens when we act

Content that breaks these guidelines is removed. If it's yours, you hear from us within 24 hours. Repeat offenders lose posting, and accounts used for abuse are closed. We moderate with people, not just rules, and you can always write to hello@letsgospringboard.com if you think we got it wrong.
